Mom loves it, great buy.I like the pans overall, but the lid on the biggest skillet does not fit snugly. It's big enough to rest on there, but it doesn't form an airtight seal. It's like buying two pieces separately because you lost the lid to the pan. Otherwise, it's a good set.I've had to adjust my review of these pans. For the price, it's still hard to fault these, but the reality is that the ceramic finish does chip very easily despite religious use of silicone cooking tools. Also, the texture of the pans interior surface becomes increasingly difficult to keep clean due to the textured waffle pattern. Finally, the rims of all of these pans are bent and chipped. No I don't treat them like precious objeectxs nad bang them around a bitd, but the finish and ability to bend the pans shouldn't be so easy.Also, the pan handles on several of the fry pans are very loose and jiggle.That said, for about $7.50 a pan, its hard to argue. Just bare in mind these are not pans youll have the rest of your life. Maybe a year or two before replacing. But that's about the shelf life for any non-stick cookware, so bare that in mind.Original review below, five stars after 1 month:I was a bit hesitant as I wasn't sure how these would work, but they are very good. The non-stick properties are very good, and after a few uses have not discolored at all, and wash clean and run through the dishwasher without any issues.They aren't the heaviest pans in the world, but they are great for cooking up an egg or two for the kids in the morning and sauteeing things at dinner and leaving yourself a pretty easy clean up experience.So I bought these 2 years ago to replace a cheap, off-brand ceramic set I bought during college. The cheap set was 5 years old at the time I bought the Farberware set, so I was expecting Farberware to last at least comparably as long.At first, the Farberware set worked great. But after the first 6 months, the Farberware set was no longer nonstick at all. Everything stuck to it, and it was sudden. Like after the 6-month mark, all of a sudden, they just didn't work anymore. I was extremely unhappy with the purchase, but I stubbornly refused to start looking for another set because we couldn't really afford to replace the set after only 6 months. So for the last year and a half, I've been dealing with my sticky ceramic pans set, the worst set I've ever used.However, once they hit the 2-year mark, there was no more "dealing with it." Food can't even be scraped off the bottom of the pans. Basic scrambled eggs or grilled cheese or pancakes do NOT come off the bottom. I've had to throw away EVERY skillet that came in this set because there is no way to get the food off of them and truly get them clean anymore.Also, even before the pans stopped being nonstick, the heat distribution wasn't great. The food has to be directly in the center of the pan, or it doesn't cook properly.If you're looking to invest in a set of pots and pans that will last more than a year, you might want to keep looking.I have had great experience with ceramic cookware previously so I was excited to buy this set. Farberware is a well-known company, the colors were nice, and by being ceramic I was hoping to avoid the health issues associated with non-stick cookware. However, right out of the box I was already disappointed in how flimsy the set felt. The handles did not seem very secure, despite me using a screwdriver to try to tighten them. The pots and pans were lightweight but not in the good way. Just didn’t feel sturdy. I still tried to make do. We’re not big cooks, so it was surprising how quickly the set started to show wear and tear. I made sure to hand wash and not use the dishwasher and yet the ceramic started to chip very early on, and a lot of discoloration of the white ceramic. We had only used plastic or wooden utensils avoiding the metal ones, yet the the cookware still scratched. I had high hopes for this set, but I ended up having to replace this whole set within a year of purchase.Not what I was hoping for. The bottom of the skillets are textured which is supposed to help with the non stick but I find myself using much more butter/oil than I had to with previous pans. Food gets stuck in the textured area and doesn’t come off in the dishwasher.Exactly like the picture! I would caution this is CERAMIC wear. You will need season these pans similar to cast iron. I took my pans and my stock/soup pan and coated with oil on top of the stove and waited to see it bubble then spread the oil over any spots that didn't bubble. Finally after cooling, I wiped clean with a soft towel. I do not use a scrubber at all to clean these - just a soft sponge and warm water. If you season these work just as well as a instant PotSo far, so good! I've had these for several months after replacing my Rachel Ray pots and pans. The color is a pretty sky blue/turquoise color though they have stained a bit from cooking. They aren't totally non-stick. My eggs stick and so do other things, but they do clean up very easily. I have not seen any chips in the porcelain and I have not had any melting/burning problems. I do wish the set came with three pots and two pans instead of two pots and four pans. I've never used four pans in my life, but I have used lots of pots. I didn't use the utensils that came with the set because I had purchased other ones. The included utensils did seem kind of cheap.Compré primero un solo sartén para probar si realmente no se le pega la comida. Actualmente son mis sartenes favoritos por sencillos de lavar.Totalmente recomendables! ??When I got them I was disappointed to see that the largest pot has a big dark mark on it like a smudge or something. It will not come off. And it stands out a lot since the inner part of the pots and pans are bright white. Aside from that I'd say a great set. I haven't put them in the dishwasher as I prefer cleaning pots and pans by hand to save the non stick coating. I also don't put the heat on too high either based on other reviews as tips to also save the coating and make it last longer. I havent had any chipping or peeling issues. I love the purple colour and have gotten many compliments on it! I also love how easy they are to clean. Nothing sticks in all honesty and I love that feature of this product. Aside from one defect, I would buy again and recommend to others. Especially for the price, you're getting pretty good quality.Pretty good for the price, clean/cook very well - The enamel chips/scratches quickly, though, and it is very easy to do so.The smallest pan is an absolute joke and I felt tricked by the fact it was included - It's literally not even big enough to cook a single egg.I've been using them quite a bit and they are great. Make sure you don't put them in cold water when they are hot as they will warp because they're thin. The ceramic coating sticks even less than T-Fal and doesn't release harmful gases like T-Fal does.My daughter just loves them. She said they are a great color and wonderful no stick.
